CARPologyTV | Daiwa 19 Emblem 45 SCW QD Reel Review | A long-range reel with a 45mm spool

CARPology’s Luke Venus takes a look at the brand new Daiwa 19 Emblem 45 SCW QD reels.

The 45mm profile is recognised as the ultimate spool size for big distance casting. This new generation of Emblem utilises a reduced oscillation speed called Slow Cross Wrap, enhancing the line lay. The result is lower consumption of casting energy during line release, when combined with the friction reducing double lip profile of the LC spool increases casting distance by more than 5%.

Can somebody explain how you pick up the middle rod without knocking the other
rods off when the reel handles etc are overlapping the other reels ?

  2. Jack Frank says

Unless that lead cast at the speed of light you did not just hit the clip of 22 wraps. Barely got 10 wraps in front of you. False advertisement?
