NEW ESP Retainer Sling

NEW ESP Retainer Sling

The ESP Retainer Sling provides an excellent short term carp retention system.

Made using super soft fish friendly mesh which drains quickly and allows safe water flow and accurate weighing. The reinforced weighing straps incorporate fixed metal rings for the scales and the sling is designed to provide excellent support to the carp when weighing. Four floats provide optimum buoyancy and the double ended zip allows the sling to be laid out flat.

Other features include reinforced carry handles for easy, balanced lifting and a 3m retention cord with bank stick attachment housed in a handy pocket. The sling rolls up nice and thin and is supplied in nylon sleeve which can easily be stored in a quiver.

Dimensions 46” (117cm) long x 26” (66cm) deep

The new ESP Onyx rods are available in two popular test curves, 12’ 3.0lb and 12’ 3.25lb, both with 50mm distance ringing. Light, well balanced and responsive the slim high modulus blanks feature a traditional unground finish which gives them a nice ‘old school’ look.

The high quality, lightweight SiC guides are arranged in a long range ringing pattern comprising a 50mm butt and single leg intermediates down to a 16mm tip. The full length shrink rubber handle features an ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing flared casting grip and a gunsmoke DPS reel fitting with anodized butt cap and collars. Subtle decals and a small ESP logo on the line clip whipping complete a nice understated look.

ALFIE JOINS E-S-P!

ALFIE JOINS E-S-P!

ALFIE JOINS E-S-P!

We’re delighted to welcome Alfie Russell to the ESP team! Londoner Alfie will already be well known to a lot of you – at just 20 years old he has caught an incredible amount of big carp, both from his home city and also further afield with many special ones among them. And it’s not just carp, Alfie is a dab hand when it comes to other species as well.

We’re really looking forward to following his progress this year and making some interesting films along the way. Watch this space!
